But these words when heard make me feel you think it will just go away.
People telling me they know everything will be alright
How do they know? When I'm only round one into this fight.
I dont know how many rounds they'll be
But I know the winner of this fight has to be me
I'm fully expecting to be knocked down
But I absolutely know I'll be back stronger for the next round
I'll fight not just for me but for others too
Because cancer will hurt your loved ones its not just you
I might be the only person in this ring
But I have so much support at my side I can hear them sing
They sing for me and shout get back up!
And I do, I hear them, I'm not giving up
So please don't ever stop that singing
As this is a fight I need to be winning.
And I thankyou all for supporting and cheering me on
The love I feel makes me feel so strong
So shout out loud and cheer away
But please don't tell me everything will be ok.
